Deathstreak
3 Painkiller Allows the player to withstand 3 times more damage. Lasts 10 seconds.
4 Martyrdom Drops a live grenade upon death.
4 Copycat Copies the class of the player's killer.
4 Final Stand Allows the player to get back up after surviving the bleed-out, plus the ability to use their weapons and equipment (i.e. semtex) while downed.
Deathstreak tips:
-Suicides, deaths by teammates in hardcore or penalty deaths (from ricochet damage or teamkilling) do not count towards deathstreaks. However, these deaths will end a killstreak (even though the player wasn't killed by an enemy).
-Painkiller (Juggernaut) and Martyrdom return in Modern Warfare 2 as deathstreaks, not perks.
-Dead Man's Hand was a Deathstreak intended for MW2 but was scrapped at the last minute for unknown reasons. Not much is known about it, but it appeared in an image in the official Bradygames MW2 strategy guide. It could have possibly been an involuntary version of Copycat on the enemy's part, meaning the enemy would instantly copy the dead player's weapon set, hence the name. This also means Copycat would have been something else.
-The Copycat icon used to be a black cat, as seen in the MW2 strategy guide.
-If you use a Martydom, and get a kill after dying then you can have another Martydom, provided that you skip killcam, even after the end of a deathstreak.
